Mark is from Sydney, Australia, and has been living in Bali and working in the property industry for over 20 years. His extensive CV demonstrates his proven track record as a project manager, a developer and an architectural designer, encompassing a vast assortment of ventures from developing major hotels and property management companies to designing exclusive private villas. A team headed by Mark won two Australian design awards in 2013 and 2014 for a complex of 6 villas in Bali.
Initially, Mark came to the island to help a friend expand a hotel called The Villas. As part of this project, he helped to create the first villa management company in Bali, where a customer could purchase a villa and share in the income stream of its rental. He wrote all the contracts for this endeavour which formed the blueprint for similar property investment models throughout Asia. Today, Mark prefers to create luxury villas in Bali with bespoke, contemporary designs which utilise high-end materials.
